In 1996, a dear friend of mine wanted someone she could trust to carry out her wishes with the wording at her funeral. She wanted something meaningful, beautiful, spiritual, and non-religious. She and her husband chose me.
I have my degree from College of Idaho in Sociology, Psychology, and Anthropology with a minor in Spanish. I am ordained through the Humanist Society of Friends, which is a branch of the Quaker's Friends Church. I am also ordained through The Church Of Spiritual Humanism.
Finding out I was now ordained (in 1998), another friend became engaged and asked me to perform the wedding and I performed my first wedding for my now very good friends Chris and Le Anne. Since then, I am honored to have officiated over 400 beautiful and meaningful weddings!
Ultimately I hope to inspire people to live authentically and genuinely. Question everything, appreciate all the good. Inspire community, sharing, neighbors. And definitely love. Our journey as one humanity could be completely filled with wonder, curiosity, and love. I want to feel it, be it, radiate it, grow with it... love.
In addition to officiating ceremonies, I am also a certified Wedding Planner and Consultant. I also opened my own salon in 2001, and currently work in Boise. *Hair dos and I dos*. Pretty cool.
We have other officiants & celebrants that we will be adding soon and are growing and always adding new professionals.
